SAHYOG Training 2025:
Building the Next Generation of Polish Assistants
A Celebration of Skills with Values
Samarth Diamond proudly hosted the SAHYOG Training program on 24th July 2025, marking a powerful step forward in skill development for Polish Assistants. More than just technical training, this program was designed with the vision of nurturing not only skills but also strong values. The session emphasized five guiding principles: Self-Initiative, Ownership, Integrity, Accountability, and Kaizen.
Self-Initiative – Taking the First Step
The training began with an engaging discussion on the importance of self-initiative. Participants learned how taking proactive steps, without waiting for instructions, can transform both the pace and quality of work in the polishing process. Real-life industry examples and practical exercises helped them understand the long-term impact of being proactive in their professional journey.
Ownership – Work with Pride
Ownership was highlighted as more than just completing tasks—it was about treating every assignment as a personal signature of excellence. Participants were inspired to take pride in their work and to view each polished diamond as a reflection of their commitment and care.
Integrity – The Foundation of Trust
Integrity was discussed as a timeless value in the diamond industry. The session reminded participants that while speed and efficiency are important, honesty and transparency are what sustain long-term success. Stories from the field reinforced how integrity builds credibility for both individuals and organizations.
Accountability – Learning and Growing
The value of accountability was emphasized through group discussions and role-play exercises. Participants understood that accountability means owning both achievements and mistakes, learning from every experience, and contributing responsibly to team success. This principle encouraged a culture of trust and collaboration.
Kaizen – Continuous Improvement
The concept of Kaizen, meaning continuous improvement, was introduced as a daily practice. With the philosophy of Better, Faster, and Cheaper, trainers showcased how small, consistent changes in polishing methods, workplace organization, and time management can lead to extraordinary results over time.
A Meaningful Day to Remember
As the training concluded, the atmosphere was filled with inspiration and renewed purpose. The SAHYOG Training equipped Polish Assistants not only with essential professional skills but also with a mindset grounded in initiative, integrity, and continuous growth.
This day will be remembered as a defining moment where skills met values, shaping a future where every Polish Assistant is not just a worker—but a guardian of excellence and craftsmanship at Samarth Diamond.
